Kit requirements
A requirement is a thing a ride makes necessary, not a product. Each page below carries the ways to satisfy one of them, what each way costs you as well as what it gets you, and where to look. Which of them your own ride needs, and to what figure, is what the interview is for.

On a plan, but not a page
The planner produces these too. They have no page here because a page needs something to say that the interview cannot say better, and a URL made only to exist is worth less than no URL at all.
Because nothing here is for sale: Food for the days out, Someone who knows your route, ID, a card, and some cash.
Because no options and no figure — the interview is the only place that can add to it: Groundsheet or footprint, Pot, lighter and something to eat with, Gloves, hat and warm socks, A dry set to sleep in, Dry bags or waterproof liners, Multitool with chain breaker, Quick link, bolts, zip ties, tape, Head torch, Satellite messenger or beacon.
